A Baltimore Orthodox Rabbi is tweeting in hopes to reach today’s younger generation. In this ever changing world of technology, Rabbi Wohlberg realized that in order to reach his community, his hour long sermons have to be condensed into 140 characters. In his latest sermon “My Six words for Rosh Hashanah” Rabbi Wohlberg states ““if you can’t beat them … join them!”. What better way to join this new social media frenzy then at the beginning of the Jewish New Year! Kudos for jumping on the bandwagon and knowing how to reach your audience. And for those out there still hating on Twitter, this is just another example of what a great marketing tool this platform is and why I believe Twitter is here to stay.
